Individual membership problem

I signed up for Individual Membership. I thought that meant I could listen to any song or album for free. But when I go to an album all I see is an option to buy that album. Am I misunderstanding what $9.99 a month provides?

Hi,

If you are looking in the iTunes Store, you will see option to buy the music. You need to look under "New" to see music available in Apple Music where you will be able to stream or download.
